    Key Aspects of the job: The Job will include the following:

    Taxation

    • To review of the taxation of AIF/PEVC, Securitization and MFO. Securitization tax litigation cases and handle all the matters related to each of the client under these products 
    • To advise the clients/business development team on all tax related issues
    • To manage all ITCL’s taxation and related compliances
    • To liaise with tax consultants for all ITCL taxation requirements
    • To liaise with external tax consultant and senior tax counsel for tax matters of the product including securitization trust
    • To analyze the tax risks and recommend ways to transfer/mitigate the risks
    • To ensure all tax related compliances/submissions are met within the timelines
    • To constantly monitor, taxation landscape to build potential scenarios arriving at potential risk exposure for the company
    • To analyze the business risks for ITCL for Taxation related risks etc.
    • To identify, devise and recommend risk mitigation strategies to the leadership
    • To support the business in executing measures aimed at mitigating risk
    • To compute income tax based on income numbers for AIF, MFO & SPV transactions on a yearly or as per closure basis and report to respective stakeholders
    • To prepare documents/review documents prepared by CA for the submissions of Tax Assessment Appeals/Tribunals for AIF, MFO & SPV transactions
    • To compute & submit the Advance Tax for MFO on a quarterly basis
    • To address all queries w.r.t. taxation of clients within the timelines
    • To research on FATCA and provide comments on its application to current transactions
    • To liaise with internal departments for any information required w.r.t. transactions for tax computation

    Taxation of ITCL

    • To prepare/review the Income Tax Assessment Schedules to be submitted within the timelines
    • To liaise with external consultants for filing of taxes
    • To attend appeals in tribunals/tax department as required
    • To prepare and submit the statutory compliance for taxation reports to the CFO for review within the timelines
    • To flag the non-compliance for taxation to statutory adherence by clients to all stakeholders

    • To liaise with the legal team for all EOD and execute required processes
    • To liaise with borrower for EOD and instruct borrower to rectify the default within the timelines
    • To organize meeting of the lenders when the EOD occurs and execute the transactions/processes as instructed by the lenders
    • To liaise with internal teams for all operations related issues/execution as required

    Compliance Reporting:

    • To prepare and submit the daily and weekly MIS for transactions handled to respective stakeholders
    • To prepare and submit the Asset Under Management (AUM) report on a quarterly basis
    • To prepare any document/report/MIS for SEBI as required
